Eldrien is the son of a Kalnean explorer who forged trade routes through the Xarri Region. During his travels, Eldrien’s father married a Xarri woman and had children. Wanting to settle down to raise his family, Eldrien’s father moved back to Kalnea, leaving his explorer days behind him.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Eldrien became an explorer who set out to continue the work of setting up trade routes through the Xarri Region. Eldrien became well-known among the Kalneans when he uncovered a cluster of natural gold deposits, a discovery which caused many to travel into the region for a chance to strike it rich.
In order to capitalize on the rush of pioneers traveling into the region, Eldrien founded a town near the mines. Though his town is growing quickly, the increasing number of bandits in the region have become a constant threat to the success of Eldrien’s endeavors.
