Hello! My name is Alvin Hew, and I’m the creator behind Champions of Miyandir. As an avid player of card games, I was becoming increasingly frustrated by what I saw happening in the industry. Wanting to make a difference, I began developing Champions of Miyandir in my free time while working full-time at a Canadian tech company to make ends meet. Further into development, I brought Nick Prospero onto the team to create card illustrations. I began developing a lightweight version of the game where players could connect and play the game for free. After seeing such a positive response to early versions of the game, I decided to quit my job and focus on developing the game full-time. Now, we are a small, 3-person team working together to bring this vision to life.
