So, what happened?
Why we left
Those of you who have followed the development of CoM for some time might remember that I quit my job back in September of 2023 to focus my full efforts on developing the game. But after two years of full-time development and promotion, the game wasn’t gaining traction, and I was running out of money. I figured it wasn’t meant to be, so, with a heavy heart, I closed down production of CoM.
Why we’re back
In the months that followed, I began exploring new career paths in the hopes of finding some success and recuperating lost finances. However, no matter what I tried, I couldn’t find joy in doing anything else. I just couldn’t stop thinking about CoM and all that it could be. Seeing how passionate I still was about the game, my close friends and family members encouraged me not to give up on my dream. Though hesitant at first, I did eventually decide to try again.
So, yes, we are back! As such, we are rebuilding our community from the ground up, starting with our new Discord server. If this is your first time checking us out, welcome! If you’re a old fan, welcome back! We have so many updates coming to the game this time around including single-player mode and automated game logic.
