We see many problems with popular card games right now, and our goal is to create a game that addresses the biggest of those problems. We also see many opportunities to improve the genre and push it to new heights. We’re huge fans of card games who dream of creating something new and truly special for the next generation of card game enthusiasts.

Champions of Miyandir was created by Alvin Hew, an avid player of card games who was becoming increasingly frustrated by what he saw happening in the industry. Wanting to make a difference, Alvin began developing Champions of Miyandir in his free time while working full-time at a Canadian tech company to make ends meet. Further into development, Nick Prospero was brought onto the team to create card illustrations. Nick’s incredible artwork brought the world of Miyandir to life, taking the game to another level. As the game started to take form, Alvin began developing a lightweight simulator app which allowed players to connect and play the game for free through a web browser. After seeing the positive response players had to the game, Alvin decided to quit his job in order to focus on developing the game full-time. Since then, the team has never looked back!

We’ve spent years refining and perfecting the core loop and game mechanics of Champions of Miyandir. Now, we’re ready to move forward with the next stage of development: building an awesome community. We’re looking for players and content creators who share our passion for making great games.
